Task 2: Verify Your Webmaster Tools Account

After you have set-up your account you are going to be given a code to verify your account. Google does this because without "proof" that you own the site,then of course they can't give you access to any information about your website.

Verifying your account is quite easy. You should already have a Google Analytics account thus far that is connected to the Google Account and you will simply need to Verify using your Google Analytics account (as per described in the video walk-through).
