Two weeks of doing "test assignments" for potential clients who found me through freelancing sites resulted in a fair amount of SEO learning, but little follow-through from those marketing organizations. (Part of why I joined WA when I did--waiting to hear about my "team acceptance" from 10 different places was driving me nuts.) Now, today, got both acceptances and assignments (with deadlines, of course) from three of them.
Guess what one of them has designated me? The Emergency Girl. Ha ha. They try it with the really cheap ones first and then farm it out to me when the results are unintelligible. I guess that's a compliment....wonder if I get a cape to wear once I've got like 25 or so Emergency Girl rescues under my belt.
Waiting on a hash job from my Emergency folks right now. Oh goody!
Finished my first lens (on writing dating profiles) yesterday. I enjoyed it. And, with oodles of help from Dusan (DABK) have gotten my butt in gear to do all of the footwork that goes with. First EzineArticles submission just went out. Blogger blog has now been created, though I haven't posted anything to it yet. And I'll be doing articles for the secondary keywords when I can.
I'm moving on Sunday. The contractors who are working on the place I'm moving into tell me all will be well. They'll be out of there no problemo. But...er, all I see is sawhorses in my living room and holes where lighting fixtures still need to go. Gulp. I must pack things up here nonetheless. I've been so excited about all I'm learning here that my boxes and packing tape are still waiting.
I've done what I can for today on my WA stuff. Now Emergency Girl needs to get to work on making a little money right now.
Cheers!
