Round 1 Update to Jens Internet Marketing Guide
Last Update: April 26, 2012
Ok. I just completed the first round of updates to my home page. The review page still needs to be updated to encompass the OEM, but feeling a bit brain-fried at this point.
Its still a work in progress and would love some feedback as I know the last paragraph just died, mostly because I didn't know where to go with it right now.
There are also 2 links at the end, but for some reason they are not displaying as links for me.
Anywhoo, here's my brutally honest homepage and thanks in advance for any feedback: http://jensinternetmarketingguide.com/

I think it is definitely headed in the right direction. Here are a few things that I do think that you could work on and/or change:
(1) Add your social buttons to the top of the page. People are more likely to share something from the top than the bottom.
(2) On your homepage, you are telling a story about yourself. You may want to include a candid photo of you. It will give people a much quicker human connection. Another good idea is putting your image within the sidebar.
(3) Break up your content a bit more. You should add headers within your blog post seperating particular ideas and you may want to make the paragraphs a bit smaller as it will lead to better readability. Bigger paragraphs seem overwhelming to many.
(4) Include images within every page. People are visual and if you can represent your content as well with pictures, the user experience will go way up. :)
Hope this helps.
