You offer a "banana" on your website with the best place to buy a "banana".

Monkey buy banana.

You make money off of monkey.

Seriously though, a Monkey?

Now, I have never seen a monkey actually perform a search in Google, but this is not saying one can or cannot. The point I am trying to make is that THIS is the process of a very successful Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign. If I had a hungry monkey that knew how to use Google, I know I could sell that very monkey and all his friends some delicious, ripe bananas.

Although this is hypothetical and of course we are selling to real people, not monkeys, the principles are exactly the same as when I started out in the Internet Marketing world 12 years ago. If you can create this flow of relevance between “someone looking for something” and a “product that they will benefit from”, you have a business on your hands.

A business that is scalable. A business that is predictable. And a business without limits.

KISS. Keep It Stupid Simple

Don’t act in a way that makes you simple. Rather hone in on your business in the most simplistic way, because at the root of a successful business is the flow of relevance. All you have to do is find a monkey and connect it with a ripe banana. That is your job as an affiliate marketer.

Often times people make things far more complex than they have to be. I see this all the time in every aspect of business. From the process of SEO, PPC, building a website, creating content, to converting people from visitors to customers, there is a natural tendency to make things more difficult than they have to be. Now get out there and sell of some bananas.

Over the remainder of 2014, there is going to be a lot more in depth training on PPC within Wealthy Affiliate.
