I highly recommend for any entrepreneur, blogger, or even homeschool parent to do a weekly and monthly review of your activities. There are some tools I use, that make my review process a little easier, and these are what I want to share with you today
(If you want to know more about my weekly review process, beyond the tools, let me know in the comment section, and I can plan a post on that subject as well)
1. OneNote. I have a
2. Evernote. Evernote has a really awesome function, which is that I can simply brain-dump everything into a designated folder (because I have a premium membership, I don't have a limit, but the free version has a limit of how much you can upload), so that I can rest assure that every bit of information I find throughout the week, is still kept safe for me until my weekly review time. It is such a piece of mind because I can also add pay stubs, receipts, bills, and everything else that is important to me into that folder, and because Evernote is so searchable, I can easily find it again. Once a week I empty the brain dump folder and place everything in their appropriate folders for safe keeping
3. Email folders. I use Hotmail for all of my email accounts - meaning I have all of my Gmail, Yahoo and other emails forwarded into my MSN email account. There I have appropriate folders, into which I place important emails - either once a day, or at the end of the week during the weekly review, depending on how much time I have. MSN is also very searchable, and free, so I do not have any problems retrieving anything. I also forward some emails into my Evernote by emailing it to my Evernote account for safe keeping.
4. Bullet Journal. I have a financial tracker and habit tracker in my bullet journal, as well as a mood tracker (which is essential for someone with chronic illnesses and panic or mood related disorders like I have), which I review weekly. I also keep track of my social media follower amount there, so that I can review that once a week as well.
So these are the tools I use for the weekly review.
Do you have any tools that you choose to use to review your process? Please leave a comment below, so I can check out these resources as well.
