Don't allow people to steal from you!

I don't want to hear "it's not worth the time" because it is. That's wimping out. Stop being so pragmatic. Anyway, if you have any self respect, you don't have a choice.

Do you ordinarily lie down and let people walk on you? Do you have any respect for yourself? Do you think what you create is worthless? The person who steals articles from you thinks your articles are worth something, but you're worthless. They're using your brain to profit, and they're kicking you in the behind for it. Nice, huh?

I'll agree this much. You do need to pick your battles. When this venue starts looking like a battle field, start fighting. TOO MUCH PLAGIARISM HAPPENING!

YOU CAN FIGHT BACK!

Here's what you do guys. First employ velvet glove technique. Look for the website's contact person and write a polite email. If you get no reply, then get into action.

If there is no way to contact anyone, get into action. No contact is a red flag.

You are within your rights to file a DMCA notice/complaint. It's merely telling Google that your copyright has been infringed. DMCA stands for Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Guess what? You're not supposed to steal.What a novel thought!

You can file your complaint online if you have a digital signature. If not, you can mail it or fax it to the address given.

I'm very angry and have excellent reason to be. So do you. We don't need this aggravation, but by passively sitting by letting them get away with it, we're encouraging these acts.

Hi Meadow Breeze. You can write them a polite reminder and they will do it your way or take it out. If you feel that you are being hurt in some way, and they don't respond, then blow the whistle. Let Google fix it.

People that steal someone else's work for profit have no morale. I don't know much about, what happens when they get caught, but I imagine they just shake it off and do it again somewhere else. They should be branded in some way like a criminal and not be able to rob some else again. I am new to cyber theft and I appreciate your informational post. Thank You for this post.
