FYI: Trivia or Not

Last Update: September 14, 2011

Doing some keyword research today, and came across an unexpectedly  popular keyword.  The color "yellow" gets 2,060,000,000 searches in Google. Tested other colors, but none of them were that high. Wow!

Wait a minute...Blue: 3,670,000,000

                           Red: 4,810,000,000

                           White: 4,650,000,000

                           Black: 6,020,000,000

                           Purple: 773,000,000

Looks like "black" is in the lead. What to do with this information?

I know those search numbers are not always accurate and many of you may not find this interesting, but for some reason I do. Those color names are right up there with "food" 3,270,000,000 searches, "movies" 3,800,000,000, "money" 3,240,000,000. One would think "money" would get the most inquiries.

Hey guys, no I'm not delusional, even though I'm not sure why I wrote this blog. I put those words into Google search after writing about color all day. Just curious to know how often those words would come up in conjunction with other words, and which color names are searched for the most, even if it has nothing to do with the color per se and may be just a name. I could have predicted what I found, however, in the billions? Check it out yourselves.

Hmmm, a black hat gets better ranking than white hat. That makes me see red. Almost makes me feel blue. But yellow makes me feel better, almost sunny. Except for the Purple color around those nasty looking clouds.

There, that's one thing to do with them.
