What Do You Get When You Mix Lemons, Sugar, Ice Cubes, and a Sprig of Mint?

Last Update: April 16, 2010

Gotcha!!! Wrong.

Not lemonade, yes that too but...

A recipe for a good article...

Chemical breakdown:

LEMONS:

You might think they are sour at first, but they are really alkaline.

Is there a problem in the house? GOOD! All great inventions are born out of a universal need. Problems present opportunities. That need can be addressed and satisfied and you can be an important part of the solution.

SUGAR:

Does more than just make the medicine go down. Sugar provides a pleasant taste and lots of energy. It makes the brew palatable and fun. And it enhances the taste of the lemons.

ICE CUBES:

A cool drink is refreshing. "Fresh" is the word I'm going after. A cool drink represents happy times, a celebration. Anyway, hot drinks can burn your tongue. "Hot" is on the serious side. That's OK, but I like cool better.

SPRIG of MINT:

Everything looks better with embellishment: eye candy, especially eye candy that enhances the flavor.  Call it what you will: staccato, punctuation, presentation, pictures. You get the idea.

That's my insight for the day.
