Ad revenue for the Gangnam Style Youtube video has earned upwards of $8 Million dollars for Google. This is the most popular video in the history of Youtube with 1.23 billion views at the time of this writing.

This news was announced during the 4th quarter earnings reports by Nikesh Arora , Google's Chief Business Officer on January 22nd.

The average revenue per visitor equates to $0.0065 and Psy's cut of this revenue as the owner of the video is roughly 50%.
