Many people aim to find long tail keywords for their marketing campaigns when doing keyword research, but everyone's definition of what a long tail keyword tends to differ from one to the next.
What do you define as a long tail keyword and is there such a thing as a keyword that is "too long tail".
I personally believe that 6 to 7 word keywords are great. Anything longer is questionable, but if it is getting any amount of traffic and it has low competition (which they almost do), I would always suggest that you create content around that term.
When you work in volume, your keyword marketing activities become very cumulative in nature.
