Hi there. I have read two of your tutorials and I think they are great. I have a few questions regarding both of them and was wondering if you'd be free to answer them. They may be questions that others have as well. The first one has to do with the tutorial you wrote about social networking advertising. I was hoping you could go into further detail as to exactly what methods you used to advertise once you had added all the friends, or, did you turn your myspace pages into advertising bulletin boards? hello Ryan. What I like to do is after about a few days when I have average of 100-200 people minimum on about 5-10 different accounts, I like to send them a comment following that says "Thanks for the adding me as a friend! I just wanted to let you know about "this offer" that I have discovered! I'm only telling you because you are now my myspace friend, so keep it a secret!"
Something similar like that works in the beginning. Also occassionally, I would send out comments that say something like. "WOW! I have stumbled upon "THIS (your offer)," and it was hard to believe at first, but once I signed up, I was amazed! I just wanted to let you know about this amazing "Your offer" I have discovered! You should check it out!"
Another thing you can do is post bulletins that are similar to above, but do it on time of a day where most users are online. Make the title of the bulletin shocking and attractive. An example would be like: WOW! $100 IN ONE DAY? I'M A GENIUS!" and be promoting your product there. Another one I like to use is the shock factor which would look something like, "YOU ARE TERRIBLE AT MAKING MONEY! BUT I CAN HELP YOU!" something like that would work. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
