Learning to promote WA with my new skills
Last Update: June 01, 2012
A few weeks ago Kyle posted a link in the Live Chat about Easelly an infographic software program. It came at a good time for me - I was struggling to do some work and was giving myself a headache so it was a welcome distraction.
Oh what a joy - I'm a visual learner and naturally creative - so as soon as I saw the program I was determined to have a go. Over the next few days I inwardly screamed as I worked with my own lack of knowledge and the limitations of the program which is still being tested. Stiill I was determined to master it and by the end of the first week had produced a series of them which have substantially improved my coaching website.
I even had a go at producing 3 for members of WA who I have been helping to get their websites off the ground. You can see what I have produced in the training area.
Now although I have a domain name for WA and have thought for sometime that I would start promoting WA - I struggled with where I would even start. Ha. Now I have the solution. I have done a lot of research on infographics (I'm a bit sad and never get out) and realised that I am going to combine infographics with 'quality content' to put on my new site. There are so many different ways they can be used to provide information. (I have falso ound a better program than Eassly which is also free called Piktochart - which gives me more options)
This is the first infographic I have produced. It's not perfect - but actually I'm pretty pleased with it for a first attempt and more importantly I feel that I am promoting WA in a way that is true to the brand and comfortable with the level of knowledge I have..
Now all I have to do is stop my mind working overtime as I yearn to get more infographics created. By this moring I had a list of over a hundred - so I guess that should keep me going for a while..

Just a heads up, the 3rd blue box reads "What the benefits?" Otherwise, great start!
