Hey WA, I’m just back from a 10 day holiday with my wife in Maui Hawaii. Was a great trip and a much needed refresher for the mind! So many exciting things are happening at WA and the Open Education Project platform is starting to show its potential. Sometimes you need to force yourself to take a little break even during exciting times like this. While I was away I had some time to read a book that I’ve had sitting on my bedside table for a number of months collecting dust. S

Personally I miss the bullseye logo from 2005 when we first opened the doors of WA...lol. Much has changed in OEP when going from WA Platinum (the previous version as of April 3, 2012) and this post will give you some insight into what has been removed and why. This is a response to Klrriders’s blog “WA - The way we were”. Training Changes All of the OLD tutorials are still here and are indexed when you do a search. The issue, is that old tutorials did not have "

I originally posted this in response to a blog post called "How do you feel about WA Gold?", but wanted to add to my blog as this response was something that I have been planning on publishing.   WA gold and the 0.10 value associated with gold has been removed in OEP, but replaced with a much more valuable, and in-depth system. Hey WA! I wanted to blog today about where I’ve been as it may seem as though I’m a little bit of a ghost at WA in recent days or weeks.  Following up on what Kyle blogged about last week, WA is being upgraded in a big way...well a massive way.  Everyone at WA is going to very soon get to experience the next wave of WA improvements that will take the online community by storm and propel your online education, training, and success to new levels.  This upgrade has been keepi

Since we launched WA Chat we have been working in the background on many upgrades.  We have just released a number of upgrades which I would like to outline here: More Space - the chat window is now larger and it allows us to display a real-time list of what chats are happening at WA.  No need to open and close windows anymore, you can flip between your chats right within a single window. Like - If you like a message, click “like”, the more you click like, the better a chat will be

WA Platinum has been now live for two weeks and we are already busy getting new additions to the community added to improve the learning experience for everyone!  Today I want to outline two updates to WA Spaces that have been requested by a number of people.  1 - Linking to Blog Posts!  Blogging at WA has taken on a whole new life since the introduction of WA Platinum.  Many people are using blogging as a way to communicate and document their learning.  It's a great me

Wow, what a rush! What a rush it's been getting WA platinum up and running. We had our glitches, and the system was running slow as the doors opened to the brand new system. We've corrected some things and we're in a very stable state right now. As with any launch of a brand new system, it's tough to forsee certain bugs and inconsistencies but rest assured that Kyle and I, along with our great development team are working long hours everyday to fix those annoying little bugs.
