Hello WA community!
I am an English major undergrad, and plan to make a career out of writing. However, that and a $1.75 won't buy me a Latte :) In Virginia Woolf's novel "A Room of One's Own", she makes it clear, that a woman must have money, and a room of one's own in order to write fiction. I have a room, but am finding the money part a little harder to achieve. Enter WA. I am an avid reader as well as writer. I enjoy museums, Archaeology, and science. I am a little bit of a nerd, and I just love the "The Big Bang Theory". I live in the city of Portland, and the university is in my backyard. "Portlandia" is also a favorite, what makes this show so funny, is that it is by and large true :) I will leave with a final thought: "Writing is easy, you just sit down at a typewriter and bleed" Hemmingway
