I am such a newbie, it's not even funny! My biggest motivation for IM is to be able to spend time at home with my two small children. They deserve so much, and I want to give them all that I can. I work about 10 hours a week as a liturgical musician. It doesn't pay much, but I love what I do. I also teach voice lessons on the side. I studied musical theatre in college, as well as photography. I am fairly fluent in Spanish, started to learn German, but never flew with it, and I am now learning how to orchestrate music. I've played piano, now for a year, but I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I was in a Christian alternative rock band for most of the 90's when Chick Artists and MTV Unplugged were popular. Think Frente, Jewel, Mazzy Star and the Sundays. i hope to incorporate the things that i know and love into my NIche as well as being able to reach out to people less fortunate than myself.
