Challenges in WA

Thought I'd write a short blog about some challenges I have come across inside WA. First of all I want to say that I learned a lot here and I'm very thankfull for that. I don't mean to sound negative, but I would like to get some feedback on my thoughts..

 I find it hard to get feedback on my questions. Most of my questions are about the WA affiliate program. I just heard that Marcus no longer is the man to contact, and that answers why I didn't get any answer from him on pm.

To post in the forum seems to me to be a waste of time, as well as sending pm to the owners. I guess they don't have time to answer all the pm's and that's totally understandable. However, I find it frustrating to not know where to get an answer to my questions in a community that costs money. My last forum message still is unanswered and this seems to be the norm more than the exception. I don't say this to complain, but to give feedback as well as learning how to better use the system.

New members

New members who post at the forums and don't get any feedback will surely be tempted to leave after they got the info they're after in the training.

Right now I have a few questions that I would love to get answered but I don't know where to ask. So I will ask here:

1. What will happen with the Mad Marketing Method now? Is it obsolete?

2. Would Kyle and Carson recommend me to edit my website and campaigns and get rid of the MMM?

3. About Jaaxy and the WA keyword tool: They both returns numbers for QSR that doesn't match what I find myself when doing a google search. I typically go to google and type in my "exact keyword" in quotes, then I go to the last page to see how many results there are. Sometimes the QSR in jaaxy and WA are several hundred thousand while Google only returns around 3-4oo results.

Is there a bug I should be aware of? Or am I doing something wrong?

To sum up I want to credit all the people contributing here for tremendous help and some really great training guides. I'm loooking forward to the new 10 day trial period coming up. Any feedback/thoughts/questions/critic is very welcome either on pm or at this blog.

(1) Getting answers to your questions. There are many ways to do this, the most common would be a post like this or chat. I have helped you throughout the day in chat and so have others, this is an excellent medium for instant help. A blog post is great for getting articulated responses or if you have something campaign specific that you don't want to share, PM Carson or myself. We get back to every PM...although our response time has been a little slow over the past 2 weeks because of our imminent focus on the roll out of Open Education Project.

(2) Mad Marketing is no longer updated, however most of the content is still very current and applicable. You can do what you like with this, but WA is changing in many ways and we are a couple of weeks from rolling out WA for FREE (10 day test drive). Wouldn't you rather point them to free access to the ENTIRETY of WA than a course.

(3) Jaaxy/WA results versus Google. We have explained this MANY of times, google no longer provides accurate data and that is a big reason why we created Jaaxy. Google's numbers are typically inflated drastically or in some cases too low and they no longer provide an easy way of getting at QSR data, which Jaaxy does. We use data from all search engines and have an internal traffic algo that runs to try to give the most accurate predictive results. It is not perfect, but very close.

The critical points are what allow us to get better so as long as they are articulated, they actually do more good than harm. :) Thanks for your system feedback, we do appreciate it and please do understand that we look at Wealthy Affiliate as a CONTINUAL project, something that can always be better. You will see this represented clearly with updates that we roll out going forward.

I understand also where you're coming from. I thought about going down the "promote WA" road but didn't just b/c lack of information or lack of answers to questions. Also the keyword tool goes whack a lot, but it is often more correct than not. This is one of the features at WA and reasons I stay is b/c of that tool. Other than the people and that tool, I rarely use anything else here. Which makes you wonder and me wonder if that is worth $40 a month lol. I'm still asking myself that question.

Thanks for replying. I've burned myself on wrong keywords at the WA tool before. That's too bad because it would be a perfect way to promote WA. I have a formula ready for my website visitors that includes using the WA tool. However, as it's not working properly I don't want to use it on my site just yet. Guess this will be fixed in the future. Meanwhile I'll continue using Google :)

Yeah i would still always double check your phrase before buying a domain or targeting it using google or a free tool like traffic travis just to check out everything and make sure it all matches up to what wa keyword tool is telling you

Well I cannot really help you with your actual questions I think Kyle and or Carson would be more approipriate....About getting questions answered sorry you are finding it so hard to get them answered...I in general have not had a real problem in getting answere to my question...some have gone unaswered I do agree that it is frustratinig when they are not answered...I was always told that there are no stupid questions just the ones that are not asked...but if they go unaswered that is just not quite right...not sure what to tell you....I have more good things to say about getting my questions answered...I find the chat and the forum just the perfect place to ask...at times it may take some time to get an answere but I have in general always got one....

I can understand how frustrating it is when you don't get a reply. Marcus who I know very well always helps out as much as he can. I returned yesterday after a break for different reasons. If you need any help just ask me and I will help you as much as I can. Neil
