Hey there WA world,

I'm a Brit who after graduating found herself confronted with the question that plagued all grads in the UK at the time... what on earth am I going to do with a degree in German/Russian in the UK? Yep, that's right I left - and decided a brief stint in Germany would be just the thing for me. Twenty-five years later I'm still going strong in the land where wine growing and beer are REALLY taken seriously.

I've always been fascinated by the potential, slumbering within us and the enormous capacity of the brain to convince us of whatever we choose to believe. Over time, having taken on various types of work in differing fields (from teaching English as a foreign language, to working for lawyers in Carlisle, PA to being a translator in Germany for lawyers, banks, travel companies and real estate organisations) so as to broaden my horizons. I've chosen to believe that I am capable of far more than I had originally credited myself with!

My horizons have broadened so much that I recently decided it was time to put my experience to better use and intend to set up my own meeting place for those interested in the topic of self improvement products, services and tools.

I'm very excited about having the opportunity to join the WA community and am looking forward to getting to know lots of 'buddies' as well as to contributing to the community's success.
