Shiny Objects
Well, this is the time of the year that will be the most trying for me. I haven't really experienced the shiny objects syndrome yet, but its been winter. Although it was a relatively mild winter, I have still been cooped up inside, not really able to get out and play.
Winter is gone, and Spring has arrived. The weather is warmer, and the golf courses are open. My irons are my shiny objects. I am going to have to stick to my dedicated time that I have allotted to work, and not get pulled away for a quick 9 at the course. This is going to be my hard time to work inside.
The forum and the chat here will be what keeps me pressing on toward my goal. To all my friends with the same problem, I encourage you to set your aim high, and keep on working for your goals.

On the other hand, when I'm not happy and feeling like I'm never getting to do what I want to my productivity goes way way down when "working" which keeps me from doing things I want to do for even longer. A vicious cycle of being unproductive. So, I say satisfy those SOS cravings, but make sure to set aside some time for work too.
