Internet Marketing
Last Update: August 16, 2012
The key to online business cannot be explained better than successful people like Kyle and Carson and many others here at Wealthy Affiliate. But even though I am just puny and totally new to the world of Internet marketing, I would like to express my views. I think Internet is an enormously busy place and so many people use it for so many reasons.
So I think Kyle and Carson got it spot on (I mean, how could they not!!) when they stressed a lot on networking with people. A lot of people around me or ones I have known, seem to be mistaking the net as a "place" - as a synthetic, inorganic machine of sorts.
But this is not correct - the Internet is the most organic place possible. It is a parochial view, in my opinion, that the Internet is not for making friends, as everything is "virtual". I think the "virtual" thing is overrated and overstated, as also the "reality" of real life. That is because, at least from my experience and I have a strong hunch many others will agree with me, people often tend to be very honest on the Internet.
Yes, I know what you're thinking - that the Internet is infamous for trolls and impostors. Even so, I think a good majority of the people who genuinely want to interact, do so with no bad intention.
They simply want to connect, to network, to have friends, to hang about, to make some money and to have fun. I have trust and faith in mankind, and I don't think man/woman is inherently bad. This belief has helped me have a myriad of experiences over the Internet that I am sure would not have been possible without it.
Of course, I am not saying that the Internet is a substitute for making friends or networking in person, out there, in the real world; let alone a better one. There is no replacing that. But at the same time, the Internet is also useful, because here people don't need to share everything, people don't need to feel afraid of being judged and scrutinized. People can move on much more easily. So Internet, in a way, is more liberating.

I agree, but nature most people are nice good people. However a medium and a group of people can change someone's outlook and they behave within that particular social network. We work very hard here at WA to keep out people trolling the community that are looking to spam or looking to make someone elses experience a negative one.
