I can't bring up my website

Hi everyone it's me  once again. I went thorough day 2 training and was confirmed that I have a website. I have gone into google and I can't bring it up, let alone edit it. BIS sent me info on how to do this, but I can't access my private messages from yesterday. When I do look for my site I find it under domain registered names, but that is it. BIS set up a link and I was able to find it that way last night, but  it won't let me find it today. What am  I doing wrong???Everyone else seems to be ziipping along and I'm still going in circles. I'm to the point of throwing my computer out the window!!!! Am I a complete idiot??? I would love to get everything up and running,  because I have a lot of information I would love to share. Should I take a computer course and then return  to WA, or hire a dial a geek for an hour to show me the basics? I really need some advice, and I hate having to blog my way through the training.

I think the biggest problem is you are addressing this as though it were a race. Don't compare your progress to others, it is not a competition. You have only been here a short amount of time and you will get the hang of things.

Would you believe me if I told you that I have helped people before that have had a domain and it took them several months before they ever set it up. Some people don't even reach this stage. You are doing JUST FINE.

If you post your domain name (URL). Where exactly are you having issues? Did you set-up your website through the Websites tab and go through the "Create a Website" process?

Kyle - I have seen Linda's site - front. back and inside but now it isn't coming up at all. You get an error message saying "server not found" - she created the site inside WA and it is http://ibsisapaininthegut.com

I'm in a similar situation. I bought a domain, began setting it up here, but then had to wait 48 hours - per the website hosting instructions here - and never got any further. Now that I've decided to give up on this and cancel my WA membership, I have no idea how to move my domain.... if it was ever actually set up here to begin with.

I was hoping this site would help me get started, but I really feel like it's too much and too unorganized, particularly for a beginner. I've looked at SO MANY wabinars and tutorials here - including the 30 day instruction e-mails - that are completely outdated, to the point that you can't follow the instructions properly because many of the steps simply don't exist anymore.

What a waste of money. :-\

Did you ever ask for help? I don't recollect any communications with you, but I definitely would (and still am) more than happy to give you a hand with anything.

If you get stuck, it is critical that you ask questions. That is the power of having a community like WA at your fingertips and hopefully we can help you turn things around. :)

Not atypical of my experience here.
