Warning: Niche Related Forums

 I joined a forum and started to participate. I've now spent about one full work day this week in conversations there. Not good. The one link from that forum to my site versus the articles I could have written just isn't worth the time. Now my blood pressure is elevated (it was a heated discussion) an I've spent my time and energy on that instead of my niche. Be warned, fellow IM's.

I love the conversations, and I learned a lot, but it took a lot of my time. :P
The WA forum is NOT a waste of time, but it can be time consuming. I guess owning your own business is about time management as much as anything else.

I read you. But did you get any value from the forum other than raising your blood pressure having that discussion? Forums can be a distraction, but you can pick up so much info in them. I check out the WA forum and Warrior forum as much as time allows. It's always a temptation.
