 The vet isn't far from where I work and yesterday going home there was numerous police cars there and as I was waiting to turn on the main street(atlanta highway) an unmarked SUV type vehicle got those sirens going to be able to cross the busy street to the vet. I emailed a friend when I got home wondering what it was all about and she sent me the first link after some searching.

May the loyal dog have a happy long retirement and may his handler deal well with this.

In NY attacking a police or SAR dog is considered a felony. This fellow can add yet another one to his list of accomplishments. Glad Boodi survived and will live out his retirement in luxury.

I can't remember if it's in these articles, but I guess the idiot robber-shooter is only 19 years old. What a wasted life!

Bodi is definitely blessed with people loving him and making sure he gets the doctoring he needs. He's an early Christmas miracle surviving the shooting.
