My www.comforthealthybikesaddles.com is relatively new and after SEO and some good backlinking it is heading up to the top of google. I niched Baby boomers and prostate cancer survivors. We are just starting to get orders from this site and have had 4 sales in the last 2 weeks.
If a site isn't producing the way I want it to and we are ranked well then it's usually the content and we have to change it. However, there are other element that can cause a slow site and it could be the niche. This one was a shot in the dark since I am a cancer survivor myself and had been in this niche with lots of contacts.

I have a few other sites that I built that have created some income but nothing huge yet because they were some of my first sites doing the affiliate thing like Jay talks about in his Wabinars the Affiliate walk throughts part 1 and 2.
The big thing for me right now is doing websites for small businesses in the area. I'm doing one right now for a Home Inspector and just met with some people yesterday to do 3 sites for them. I've completed one for a Locksmith and did some small ones for other people. Each time I get paid to do these.

Thanks for letting me know about the email. I took care of it with godaddy and it should be working in about 3 days. As far as income goes we are all different and each one of us generates income differently. I started with WA in 2010 and had been playing with IM for a while. when I started with WA and took the 30 day training that's when I started to learn just how to put all of this together. I did some affiliate marketing and that was hit and miss. Then I found a niche and put the website together. Did it generate right away? No I had to tweak and Tweak till it started. I am fortunate to have a young lady in the Philippines that helps me with the back linking on the site. When it was finally tweaked to a point we are at it then started to create an income. We are selling these bike saddles for the last 4 months at about 2 saddles per month. We will be tweaking it again on the front page soon to see if it will hold more people on the site to purchase the seats. In addition to this site I also do offline marketing I have built 2 websites and just signed a contract to do 3 more for some people.
I also have just started into mobile marketing which is building small websites that appear in the iphone and androids. This is the next wave and I will be there and out in front. If your interested in offline marketing let me know. To answer your question about income right now it varies between $1000 to $2000 depending on my sales. My business plan is to get it to $5000 within the next 6 month and when I hit that goal I will re adjust to a higher income.

My assistant in the Philippines does all the back linking for me and I believe she does use web 2.0. We also do article marketing on several sites and that's all backlinked.
When a site gets ranked and it doesn't produce we start to make changes to the front pages as that is usually what keeps them from taking action. We try to sell benefits benefits benefits.

I don't use clickbank with my business, tbh. But there are many others who enjoy clickbank

I mostly work on the radio station site and the two record label sites. As for affiliate stuff, I am a member of the amazon.com team.

Most of my time is spent with marketing the music stuff I mentioned earlier. Just starting to get into physical products with amazon. Yes, SEO is important on everything that I do.
