I was born in Indonesia 59 years ago. My family came to the US in 1970. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1975 with a degree in Biology. However, biology was not the field I was interested in making a career in. If you are interested in finding why I majored in it, ask me and I will tell you why. The first few years after graduating from college, I worked for several years in the electroplating industry. In the mid 1980's I started working in the carpet and hardwood flooring industry. Throughout my career, I have been involved with quality and operations management. I have always been interested in finding out about other options of making a living. Tried investing in the stock market in the 1970's. Obtained a license to and worked for life insurance companies. l also involved in the real estate appraisal. Now I am hoping to learn and benefit from being a part of this community and to give back to it in return.
