Hi WA! My name is Vince and I'm a newbie to the world of internet marketing as of Jan 2011. So much so I didn't know what anything was. I come from about 12 years of finance background and most recently working with small businesses and startups with some consulting and strategy work. Totally as an unpaid hobby so far as we wait for some of them to get off the ground.

My paid work is in the mortgage banking business (sorry for the photo) and has treated me very well in the last 2 years. Many others have not been as lucky. I'm in the process of switching from 9 to 5 work into my consulting business and looking to start a type of collaborative startup business incubator here locally.

In the process of researching one of the internet businesses opportunities I found some very strong interests in the field of internet marketing. I have always been intrigued by the power of the internet in reaching millions of people quickly. And some of my business concepts can use the leverage of the internet as well.

I can tell that this will be a passion of mine due to the amount of time I've been spendind on it and how much enjoyment I am getting on learning: putting up a site/blog, driving traffic to the site, montetizing the site and seeing what happens. It's great to be able to do experiments and see what happens.

The resources here are great and I'm looking forward to meeting more of the WA members and reaching out. If there are other newbies please contact me to keep track and motivate each other. For the experienced WA'ers please let me know of any ideas or projects you may want to experiment on with me.

I'm highly motivated and a very quick learner. This will be fun and I look forward to the ride with the rest of WA. Thanks!
