I am Behind, but That's OK !

My First Blog on Wealthy Affiliate

Hello and thank you for checking out my first   BLOG on the WA platform,

I joined WA June 14,  purchased my first domain last night ( purchased several)  June 20th;  therefore, I am a little behind the first Lesson’s Task of writing a Blog’ and definitely behind with the task of getting my first site up within 7 days.

There is so much awesome info to digest , where do one begin,  I am like a BULL in a china shop!!  I skipped back and forth, ( during the time between each New Lesson was made available) and read  the suggested material, but mostly I reviewed the top profilers on the WA Space.

I wasn’t sure if it was cool to use the “Wealthy Affiliate” name in my domain names, I thought it would be “cheesy”… but what’s cheesy about wanting to be like the “Big Boys”, especially when they give you carte blanche  to rock their products.

I read Robert (Bob) Hemken Jr profile on the WA Space and clicked on his “Newbie Jump Start” resource link,   (cause after all I am a “newbie)

www.klrrider.com/newbietrilogy.pdf

Bob’s article addressed my concern,   it gave me the green light that I was looking for,   quote

"A way cool domain!

A way cool domain!

A way cool domain!

You will need to register a way cool domain to make this work.

It is the most important step of this Newbie Jump Start technique.

The first step is always the most important!

….   And

You want to have your product name (or your chosen keywords) in your domain name  and be sure to purchase a ".com" or ".org"  and not some other type of domain. The fact is that people remember .coms the best and you want them to remember you. If your chosen keyword phrase is not available adding an "e" or "my" in the front or something on the end like "tip" or "info" will get you a keyword optimized domain and the Google love you want"  end quote.

Thank you  Bob!!

So here is my first contribution… if you too are a “newbie...

In Lesson One, it is suggested to…"Keep track of everything that you do.  Sometimes even the most obscure online task will lead into a new niche or opportunity.  Always have a pen and paper handy so you can record your ideas. If you don't put your ideas on paper then they will never get looked at again. Trust us, you WILL have epiphanies and it is important to record your ideas, heck, you may have the next million dollar idea!"""  …    Well I find it VERY helpful to use the Bookmark and Notes link at the bottom of the page on the WA site.   My mind is running soooo fast (as I have a vision),  but I also am still working (full-time)  at the business which is currently paying my bills and that is real estate.  When I have to step away to  work my business,   I bookmark  a page or jot down notes  using these links.

I am behind on several tasks like writing a Blog, getting my Affiliate sites up, etc.  Eut I have been doing the SEO, keyword lessons, on my existing real estate sites  and it  is definitely working ( as the lesson suggested it would )  So, I am behind and that’s OK, because  I am currently working with a Million dollar (plus) buyer who found me on the internet.  I drafted a contract yesterday, waiting for letter from the estate attorney's, let’s close, let’s close, let’s close !

This is my house ( in my dreams )!  this is the property currently in negotiation with.

I say that it is okay to be behind as I am also. I joined June 1st and am currently on day 8 of the email lessons. I'm caught up on my lesson tutorials, but still trying to accomplish the everyday tasks that are in the emails from Kyle and Carson. I know it will come for us and pay off in the long run. Happy blogging, article writing and bringing in the $$$! Best of luck to you!
