Although I am new to affiliate marketing, I'm not new to internet marketing. I am a freelance writer that contracts for a large media company, Internet Brands. As you can well imagine, I have lost a lot of income due to the economic downturn, so it is time to diversify. I plan on doing that here at Wealthy Affiliate.

I have been online marketing since 1998. I begin like a lot of people do, on eBay, but got very tired of the "onsey-twosey" in a hurry. I did make a ton of money, but wore myself out in the process. I was led by a mentor to do what I do best - write. To that end, I have been making a good income for several years. It is sustainable income, but very labor intensive. I am 65 years old, have grandchildren, and see little of them. It is time for a change.

I live in Charlotte, MI. I am married to a wonderful woman who is a successful businessperson in her own right. Her shop, Bella Grande, is the only plus size consignment shop in the tri-county area. It has been a success for her since she opened the doors almost 3 years ago.

We live a quiet life, with two doxie girls as our companions. We have simple needs, and we are happy. I hope to make WA a huge success for our business. From what I see, that is very doable.
