Hello WA community!
I am an English major undergrad, and plan to make a career out of writing. However, that and a $1.75 won't buy me a Latte :) In Virginia Woolf's novel "A Room of One's Own", she makes it clear, that a woman must have money, and a room of one's own in order to write fiction. I have a room, but am finding the money part a little harder to achieve. Enter WA. I am an avid reader as well as writer. I enjoy museums, Archaeology, and science. I am a little bit of a nerd, and I just love the "The Big Bang Theory". I live in the city of Portland, and the university is in my backyard. "Portlandia" is also a favorite, what makes this show so funny, is that it is by and large true :) I will leave with a final thought: "Writing is easy, you just sit down at a typewriter and bleed" Hemmingway

Maybe...if you really looked around my Blog, you would have noticed that I already have two websites, and 9 published articles, and 8 forum posts...okay, 9 articles doesn't sound like much compared to others, but I'm doing research. I have an article in just about every genre, and I'm taking note of which gets the highest traffic. umm...I'm also unsure what to make of the "welcome", I have been on the site for quite awhile now...but "Thank You" lol

If you like writing... this a great place to try out some of your ideas. If you like learning new things, this is a wonderful place to learn about many things. If you have a passion for something... build a business around "that thing" that you dream about or imagine yourself accomplishing. Hello everyone! I am new to the WA university, and I feel like I'm on a mission from God...It's 4:00 in the morning, and I just finished my website...I'm having trouble uploading an image, and on my webpage I think I kinda jumped the gun, and got into something called SEO. There is this big red banner flashing that I can"t get to go away...:) I will tackle it tomorrow. Anyway...am very excited, "my website"...just saying those words is exciting...this is way cooler than I ever expected.
