I came to WA 2 years ago.. Broke, hopeless, and heartbroken. I knew nothing. I was clueless.. and I'll be the first to admit it.
I wanted to give up.. More than once. There's days where I wanted to throw in the towel...
But I didn't.. I never gave up. I stuck with it. And because of that, became more successful than I could of possibly imagined ;)
I've said it before and I'll say it again.. Success comes down to 1 thing. Your mindset... The second I changed my thinking and my beliefs.. was the second my life changed.
Stay focused. Stay driven. Don't give up.. Ever.. No matter how hopeless it may seem.
It's always darkest just before the dawn.
Believe. Believe Passionately. Believe whole heartedly. Get rid of doubt.
and stop chasing money.. Chase what you love doing. Do it often.. and money will find you ;)

I appreciate the idea. But I'm a hip hop artist/rap artist and American Idol is more geared for pop singers... And for the people that win.. I've seen the contract they gotta sign. They basically sign away their soul. Lose rights to even use their name for anything for the next 10 years.. which is pretty rough.
