Hi, everyone! I am from Canada. I love nature and the outdoors, quality chocolate, gourmet cooking and I especially love my cat! I've been working in the Textile Industry for many years but it's no longer the promising industry it once was.
In my search for something better, I found this whole other world I knew nothing about and didn't even know existed; In the past several months, I bought a couple of courses in IM and studied hard but being a total newbie in IM and in computers and with no real support, I just got stuck a lot.
I believe with hard work, the right education and the right support, success can be achieved. I look forward to meeting other WA members and I thank everyone in advance for any help and guidance you may give. Here's to

It's so nice to talk to somebody who understands. I am a designer of decorative printed fabrics. I had a studio in New York for many years, and was under contract to companies in the industry. I licensed my work for royalties. Had the opportunity to do some really good things, and then companies started to merge, some went out of business, and everybody went to China. It's sad. All the talent has flown the coop.

Hi, I've been involved with everything from design to production to sales and more. You're right - it's in bad shape and looking worse. As long as imports are around at such cheaper prices than ours, I don't see how this industry could ever get up on its feet again. Maybe in ten years? What have you done in the industry?
