I am a freelance web content writer/editor living in the beautiful Blue Ridge foothills of Northern Virginia. A perennial student and peripatetic soul (love that word "peripatetic"!), I've navigated a career that has included high school and college English teaching, instructing adults in ESL/GED, home-schooling my four children, full-time parenting, ghost-writing, hospice volunteering, designing CMS websites, and earning an M.A. in Literature. I often get carried away with words and write sentences that are way too long. I've always loved learning but have not always been very practical in my approach.
