Hi...just starting WA and I am really quite excited about what is offered here. I live in a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been in the teaching profession for 23 years and at present I teach at the elementary level. I have been involved in a number of MLM's in the past but really didn't know what I was doing or how to do it. Been married for 31 years and my wife firmly believes that any business on the Internet is a scam! I guess it's up to me to prove otherwise. I hope to make some friends here and get help and offer some help as well.

Thanks Keith........just goes to show we learn something new every day. Now I'm beginning to think maybe I should have opted for one of those "foreign" schools beyond our great country of The Maritimes. Have you ever been down this way? Those who visit love it, and those who love it live here. By the way, I think we had our summer already...had a day in May up to 27 degrees! Fall setting in now.

Hi novascottie, thanks for the welcome in the forum. Thought I'd drop by here and add you as a friend. Hope you don't mind!

Hi Chrissy. How are things on the other side of the world? Have you been putting in time with WA each day? This week was very difficult for me but I still managed to get some reading done and make some posts. Finally day of school was today, so now I'm changing gears! I'm anxious and still have to remind myself that it will take time. Being too anxious can lead to discouragement when things don't happen as fast as we want. Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. I'm into week three, actually week 4 tomorrow, but still working week two. Haven't even opened week three yet. C ya.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for the welcome on my post. I too find that if I tell anybody that I do business online all I get is a chuckle and told that it's a big scam. This just motivates me to work at it harder to prove them wrong. So how is the teaching profession? I've thought about doing it after I get my degree. Hope to talk with you soon.

All the best,
-Brian

As soon as I saw the novascottie, I figured it was one of you crazy easterners who couldn't spell! Seems I was right!
Hey, never mind what your wife thinks about the internet. Mine is the same way. And she doesn't even know how to turn the computer on!! Remember this though, when you start making wheelbarrow loads of cash, you just let her know it is all fake money. And she can't have any of it! That'll probably get her attention.
Your blog sounds exactly like 99% of the rest of us. Fear not, sometime during week 2 the fog starts to lift, just like it does once or twice a year in Nova Scotia! And you're welcome to take a poke at me too...I probably deserve it! If I can point you to anything, feel free to ask. Heck - couple more days and I will be here a whole month!
Oh, please note that I live at the RIGHT end of Canada!

Hey Scottie, you know even elementary teachers should know a bit more about Canadian geography. So this is how it works.
Where I am out on the right side of Canada, is actually Canada proper. Now when you get to the BC/Alberta border, this is another country. You may have heard of it, it's called "Back East". Sound familiar?
Now I know I probably shouldn't lump the beautiful Nova Scotia in with places like Ontario, at least you have SOME clean air! But really, I'm not the guy who came up with these names. Just ask anyone visiting BC where they are from, and when they say anywhere from Alberta on over, you always say to them, Oh, you're from BACK EAST then. So now you understand a little more about our geography, you can get your elementary kids straightened out.

Hey Keith....I didn't know there was a province west of the Maritimes! But I did visit a place called Langley two summers ago. A nice place to visit. I maybe even going back this summer...have a relative there. He'll be moving back here soon..they all come back to Nova Scotia. I'm lovin WA....so much to learn here. And seems to be lots of good people, like yourself, willing to help. Would love to keep in touch and compare notes. I can certainly use all the help I can get. And hopefully I'll be able to offer my help soon to those who need some.
I'm anxiously awaiting week two......catch ya later,
Scott
