Welcome to my WA Space...
Hi, My name is Robert Magat, married, and I have four children. We live in New York.
I work full-time (between 12-16 hours a day...and sometimes on weekends as well) as a chauffeur for an International Organization connected with the United Nations.
My IM journey started around 2008. I have no clue back then...lack of computer/technical skills (owned a laptop only in 2008) and also lack of marketing and communication skills. Only a deep desire that someday I will make a living through the internet.
I'm originally from the Philippines. I did not graduate from college. Back then in the early 90s, computers are not as powerful as these new machines are. No internet too...well, at least in my country.
I came here in the US alone in March 2001, leaving my family behind. It took another 4 years before we all finally be together again. There are a lot of stories I can share about my first years here in the US. That's for another day...
Back to IM...
It took me 2 1/2 years ( and lots of money ) to somewhat figure this out. It's been a long and tough journey so far...but it's all worth it.
Lately, I've been having small successes with a few of my efforts. These small successes are what's driving me towards realizing my ultimate goal. Also, I want to prove to my children that there are no boundaries to success if only you put your mind towards achieving it. Not a lack of college degree nor a lack of technical and communication skills. Anything is possible...
It's such a great feeling when you're seeing all your hard work are finally paying off. Now I don't spend my personal money to support my business. I'm looking at a bright future ahead of me and my family.
I joined WA only recently. I was inspired by the success of Jennifer (a.k.a PotPieGirl)...who doesn't? I'm also curious of what's inside WA...
I'm not disappointed of what I'm seeing so far.
Lots of people helping each other out.
I'm here to learn more...from Jennifer, as well as other members. But I'd like to help out too, in my own little way. If it's just to inspire someone to take action or not to quit...or teach someone something I learned on my own or from others...
Most of all, I want to know more about you.
Please feel free to post something here...say hi, or ask about a problem you're encountering. If I don't know the answer, I'll try to find it out for you :-)
I'll see you inside the forum.
OK. Let's get to work!

Hi Robert and welcome aboard. I admire people who immigrate to a new country and through hard work bring over their families for a new start. That mindset (one you have) will serve you well here at WA and online. Wish you the best... from another "Robert"... call me Bob.

I appreciate the warm welcome, Bob! Re: Mindset...Uncertainty about when I can see my family again has left me with no choice but to be patient and have a single focus...that everything I will do the minute I step on US soil is towards making my family whole again. That is the same approach I use in my quest to be sucesssful in IM. It doesn't matter if it takes me 5 or 10 years to make it, but I have no choice but to succeed in this business. See you in the forum.

Hi...Dusan, right? Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I can see you're very active in helping a lot of members here. Please continue doing that. I'm sure I'll run into some road blocks along the way...expect me to ask for some help one of these days. Thanks again.
