I've already picked out my niche, which will be Illustration because I love to draw and paint, but I'm having trouble finding a domain name that isn't taken already.

Why don't you use your own name in conjunction with a keyword that describes your site. Keep it under 5 words if you can.

Hey Sam. Yeah, that's one of the 'bugger' parts about IM'ing. There are some ways around it like including a suffix or prefix onto your domain name itself. For example, www.internetmarketing.com could be www.internetmarketingsuite.com or www.puppydog.com can be www.mypuppydog.com etc etc.
