Like people say, pick something you care about, you write a lot more convincingly. However, there's more to it than that. Kyle has tutorials on that... In any case, read some of his articles... he's got lots of view and high click through rate.

If you're passionate about something, can paint a picture, can attach that picture to something big in the news, connect to the reader, you're in business. I mean, if you can come up with catchy titles and pick an good keyword, that is. I don't mean to make it sound easy, it's not. But it can be learned.

Last I checked, and it's been months, ezinearticles.com had a top most read articles and top most published articles.

If they still do... or other directories do (or, at least, let you sort articles by number of views), study a few of those.

We always tell people to start with a passion and this is the exact reason. If you can't talk about something all day, then I suggest that you don't make it your starting point for a niche. People that don't completely understand a particular niche are going to have a tough to promoting it, researching it, and connecting with the audience. I would reserve this for later on in your promotions and revisit it once you have a little bit more experience.

In the meantime you can "share" content with WA to earn revenue. This is a subtle way of promoting WA and something that everyone can do, even when starting out. When you click any of the share buttons, it will pass your affiliate link through and you will earn $1 credit + any ongoing commissions for each invite you get.

I also think WA is a really hard thing to start with. You have obviously put a lot of thought into your site.

However, if you're new to internet marketing it can be very difficult to think about things to write about and that can be frustrating.

You may want to do as @slaytons1s suggest below and also have a site based on a small niche (something you're interested in) and promote amazon products which is easy to manage.

Promoting WA isn't an easy task. Internet Marketing is one of the harder niches to delve into. Advertising an small niche based from Amazon is prob. smarter for you starting out. As for the article clicks, there's a few small things you can do to increase click probability, but it should only be expected to receive 1/20 clicks per page views on average.

Do you use the social medias like facebook share, twitter and g+1? Those are good ways to get traffic to WA as well.
