I live in Chicago. I spent most of my life in corporate America in executive positions performing mergers and acquisitions and have been able to transfer my experiences to IM.

I've also owned and sold multiple companies but 2006 was my year to start a 10 year plan towards retirement. I was looking to build a "portable" business that can be done from anywhere. I am now four years into my plan and feel invigorated, successful and lucky. This has been a great challenge and certainly not one without bumps and bruises. What a journey!

If I have learned anything in my life it is to stay on task and know what you are looking to achieve. I'm not in the IM niche so I don't have the swagger of those who are, but I can say, find a niche, love it up and you will reap great benefits.
