Hello all! I am a 48 year old (in the blue shirt beside my lovely wife) that recently had his position eliminated and was looking for a new career when I found this site. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

I was most recently a security consultant with a very prestigious firm. I have almost 20 years security management experience and I am a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). With all this experience I have been out of work for 4 months and am tired of waiting/working for the man. There are no guarantees of employment working for others. I intend to become self reliant on my skills and abilities. I know this will take a lot of time and work however I intend to succeed.

I am looking forward to learning as much as I can and making lots of pajama money. So thanks for the welcome and help offers everyone and feel free to add me.
