Well yes, that's what I just checked out. I wrote an article on hubpage which targets a 3 words long keyword and it's been like 2 months now and I created backlinks at the same period. I googled the keyword 1 minute ago, I mean the broad thing, without the exact match signs ("...") and I'm ranked 1st on 49 300 000 entries !  I'm dizzy now ! lol :) Makes me work harder, and smile too !
