My husband and I have been involved in investment properties since the early 80's and have owned 2 storefront businesses. My husband currently works in the RV industry and we have continued to do property rehabbing on the side. I have had a small interior and faux painting business for several years that came about as an offshoot of rehabbing.

I became interested in ecommerce last summer when the RV industry was hard hit by the high gas prices. As our county unemployment grew and our side jobs dried up, I figured I'd better be looking for another source of income! I currently have a website but it has not produced much yet...lack of traffic...and in searching for ways to turn that around, I found Wealthy Affiliates. I'm hopeful once again that I can make the internet work for me! Besides, rehabbing and painting is hard work and I want to go down the path of "work smarter, not harder!"

I look forward to getting to know many of you better and wish you all great success in your efforts in internet marketing. LynnM

There's a lot to take in...don't be overwhelmed! Use the "getting started" spots and "30 days" program. You can move on to more complex things when you're ready. Best wishes and good luck!

Thank you Lynn. I am looking forward to learning and exploring. I can see I have a lot to learn. Found a great book yesterday... It's called "Get Rich Click" by Marc Ostrofsky... turns out he is CEO of Clickbank. Very interesting read so far and very enlightening in the arena of ideas.

Had to click on your picture cause I love dogs. Those two are gorgeous. What kind are they? I hope that since you have been with WA that your website is doing better for you. I am too new to give advice, but I am glad you are here.

Thanks so much for replying and telling me about your dogs and updating on your part of WA. I understand about the dogs. I have 3 and they can be the sweetest things, then mix in my cat who likes to tease them and it gets to be a circus here. Surprisingly, to me, at least, the male dog isn't interested in my cat or any cat. But the two female dogs are full of vigor when it comes to my cat. He always makes the great escape. and yet they all have those moods where it's peace at last and he will walk around them with no worries or lay close to them and you say amazing! I understand your part in your venture with your website and coming back to learn more. I learn slow, nothing new, and like you said life gets in the way and working my silly day job, well, I hope to carry on and learn more and do more and just get it right one of these days. I find the Wabinars helpful.

They are Kerry Blue Terriers...and they are h.e. double L on wheels! They are unlike any dogs we have ever owned! They can make us fall down laughing or have us tearing our hair out within a space of a couple minutes! To say they are characters is an understatement to say the least, LOL! They are about 35 lbs and about knee high, height wise. They are the second largest terrier with just the Airedale being larger. They have gorgeous curly hair that grows all the time (like poodle hair) and is soft as silk. They are born black and clear to a silver or gray with black points. They are good dogs for allergy families because they don't shed and don't have undercoats. I keep mine clipped pretty short because they play outside a lot but if you check out some pictures on line, they are pretty neat looking dogs.

Thanks for your kind thoughts on my website, it has yet to take off but I haven't really spent any time on it. Since it is a merchandise site, trying to do all the keyword, seo stuff etc has been overwhelming. Additionally, I get sidetracked with everyday life and often find I haven't been here in weeks or months. I'm back again to see if I can go in another direction with IM, something not so complicated as what I have now. I'll be going back through the Success in 30 series with a different idea and see if that works better. Hopefully, I'll do better staying on track as well. Good luck to you too, stay in touch. If I don't reply right away, just know that life has me attending to something else at the moment! LynnM
