Like a Chicken With My Head Cut Off

Last Update: July 13, 2010

Wowzers... it's been crazy lately!  I imagine that anyone else with school-aged children is going thru some of the same "summer craziness" as we are in my house.

It feels like we've been running in 50 million directions... and not really GETTING anywhere!  haha!

Family events, outings with the kids , holidays.... and the last few days have spent mourning the loss of a very dear uncle who suddenly passed away due to complications from pneumonia.

Funerals can be so bittersweet, can't they?  Sad from the loss, but sweet to see friends and family that only funerals bring back together.

Anyway... just wanted to let everyone know I'm still around - just a tad bit more nutso than usual.

I'll be back in the swing of things soon  =)

His ELEVENTH hole-in-one! WOWZERS! Whitey is my hero! Please tell him congrats for me - that HAS to be some type of record. Oh, and send a copy of the scorecard with his story into The Golf Channel (seriously).

Thank you to all for your condolences and well-wishes. Also glad to know we are not the only household that is going nutso this summer!

Thank goodness you posted. I was getting concerned. I kept telling myself you were rocking that sweet baby or off on an exotic vacation somewhere! Glad you are fine. Sad to hear about your loss. We have been to two funerals in the last two weeks. And yes, the summer crazies, golf tournaments, and Whitey had his 11th hole in one! lol

Aah yes, I hear it's going around - summer craziness. Laughing or crying - the best two sides of life to offset any craziness. Thanks for the update - we have been wondering where you are. Take care!

Sorry for your loss Jennifer.

I was at a graduation party over the weekend (we're feeling the summer craziness thing too), running around all over the place.

I was telling to one of my cousins that I usually only get to see at funerals that it's nice to get together for something other than a funeral.

Unfortunately that's it goes though, it's very hard to keep in touch with all your family.

But we all seem to come together in a time of need like a death in the family.
