hey,
Well, this is easy...hehee--easy for me to say:)---but, actually you type keyword, that you are planning to use in your articles, sales pages, blogs, websites etc, in this little search box upper left. Search results will show you competition in search engines and how much these keywords have been searched...that is how you will know what keywords have large competition and what should be used for your marketing champaign. This tool is also great for searching what people need and it helps you to target your products:)
Hope this helps:) If you need something more specific, let me know:)

Hey,
As I have understood, Kyle and Carson suggest you to use keywords that have lower competition than 5000 competitors. Search keywords, that have lower competition than 5000 and big search volume...that is how we find new niches as well...hungry customers and no or very few product/service providers:)
To be honest I just found one and ran to godaddy to register a new domain for it...heheee:)

Yes:) You have understood me right...the more people search keywords, that more chances are that this is in people´s mind and this keyword or -prase will be searched more(your article will recive more traffic)

Hi Inxxu, thanks for your comment. Been dabbling with article marketing but am having some confusion with the Keyword Research Tool. Are you familiar with it and understand it?

So basically I search for keywords with large Average Search Volume and low competition. Why do Carson and Kyle recommend keywords and phrases of 5000 Average Search Volume or less when doing article marketing?
rcast99 Premium
Competition is measured in stars and Average Search Volume in numbers? You mean we are looking for high Average Search Volumes and low competition in stars, right?

Is a 1300 Average Search Volume and low Competition using the Keyword Research Tool a good niche for article marketing?

When writing a lens in Squidoo.com, how do you make the links appear as:

(underlined) Fee Amazon Gift Card(underlined) and when you click on it, it takes you to the link

rather than: http://www.my-linker.com/hop/Free_Amazon_Gift_Card
