Came across this a couple of days ago and thought I would share.  I work a lot with logos for my offline embroidery business.  If you decide to include a logo on your website don't try to make it too complicated.  No need for lots of shading around the letters or using lots of different colors.  Check out these logos from major companies, most of them are pretty simple but they have hidden meanings.
