The above is short of it but I'll add few details for those wanting a bit more than bullet notes about me.
I live in the heart of Redwood Country in Northern California near my son, 13. A great kid whom I couldn't be more proud of. He says I'm a good dad. In my opinion he makes it easy.
I served in the U.S Army 1988-1992 with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Germany and the 1st Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood Tx. and deployed to Iraq with them for the first Gulf War.
Still dabbling a bit with writing. Not regularly but I continue to do so. Now and again I'll get a bug up my *** and make some progress but these times are not often.
My music tastes range from chant and classical to blues to grunge...and even some country.;-p I'm also quite fond of karaoke.
Like any red blooded American male I love video games. I've been playing them since pong and haven't stopped nor plan to. ATM I'm playing Dawn of War, Company of Heroes, Call of Duty, Bad Company, Freelancer.
For a bit over four years now I've been a casino gaming / surveillance agent. You know. One of 'those guys" behind the camera's. Interesting and challenging work. I'll miss it but hey that's life. Got a couple brands in the fire and I may be moving to a new city to take up work as a Veteran's Representative. Will see how it works out. So there you have it. The one page nut-shell version about me.
