I've been working with Mr. Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues for about 4 months, looking at ways to expand his business operations. The new website is underway, and as a result of working with him, there are more neat things coming forward. I cite their forum (Moody Blues Attitude), but they're expanding functionality to increase interaction. They always ask fans to join at the main website first, MoodyBluesToday.com to open up permission for forum join-in. This is necessary so that the forum isn't spammed with a ton of "handbag ads".

At my request, I've asked Mr. Hayward to include all band members on the front of the website. I've asked him to set up individual blogs for all band members so that they can attract willing audiences.

The male fans want to visit with the women.

The female fans want to visit with the guys.

To keep it workable for the band members, they each publish an "on-the-road" tour newsletter when they each see fit. This expands the public reach by letting fans know that they can interact inside of the forum.

That's how they're going to increase their overall sales...by contact with fans, by building ongoing rapport...and by making interaction personal. It always has to be personally applicable to you...the fan or it carries no real meaning.

They have excellent ideas of their own, pulling in television promos and tour-related news onto the website. So there you have it.
