I'm (too rapidly) approaching my 71st birthday and, prior to finding WA, was retired (but not comfortably so). I spent over 40 years in the technology industry, doing everything from programming to global alliance manager. I have 8 "children" (ages 29 - 48) and 12 grandchildren.
Over the years I've dabbled in a multitude of MLM opportunities, ultimately proving to myself I was not cut out for that. I believe the MLM model is brilliant, but unfortunately is abused more often than not. Many people from all walks of life have been very successful in that industry, I'm just not one of them.
I have obviously heard about affiliate marketing for years but had shied away from it because I was clueless how to do it. I could see the big picture, but the details looked daunting. WA has changed that. I'm extremely excited to have all the training and resources that are going to enable me to learn a lot of new skills, work at my own pace, have fun and make some money in the process. How great is that!
I look forward to making many new friends, learning from many of you, and perhaps some day being able to help others. Right now I feel a little like someone who heard a loud rumbling sound, looked up, and saw a mountain side tumbling toward me. Wow - I have soooooo much to learn!

Welcome! I know a few other geezers. (Is that a real name? Ha ha ha). Yeah, lot to learn. I am always surfing the blogs instead of 'studying'. It gets pretty intimidating, but do start with Action Plan. Good luck.
