Who Am I?
I'm Anne, and live near Santa Fe, NM. My folks called me "Hazie" growing up.I have worked as a consultant to nonprofit and government agencies for years. I edited and published "The Digest of Nonprofit Management" in the 1990s, which became a well known national resource for nonprofit agencies, government organizations and foundations. I consult with agencies on planning, organizational development, evaluation and building sustainability.
IM Experience and Goals for the Year
I'm new to IM, and still find a lot of things confusing. Have done rather well with writing EZine and other articles; posting articles and generating traffic with articles. My biggest success was on my nonprofit website earlier this summer and fall, when I wrote and submitted articles about once a week to the different sites. Done a little w/ SEO. The rest of the alphabet soup (PPC, PPV, Ping, etc.) are things I've been learning about this year.
Over the coming year, I'd like to make some good revenue with Affiliate Marketing. And, I'd like to utilize what I'm learning about IM with the nonprofit sector, developing more cost effective resources online that nonprofits can access quickly and easily.
What I Do for Fun
I am a member of "The Red Hot Mogul Mamas,"a by-invitation group of women of a certain age, and one very brave husband. We ski moguls in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado for fun. Skiing is a passion for me. I also love music and play in an orchestra and quartet. Karaoke is another love, and my signature song is "White Rabbit." I'm one of those who remembers the original.
Love, love, love to travel. Favorite places traveled to recently: Peru, Bolivia, South Africa, Ireland (roots), England and France. As a kid, I grew up in France, Germany and Puerto Rico. And, I've lived and worked in Korea, and traveled throughout Asia. I would love to build my IM business to be able to travel once or twice a year for a month or more. That's my two-year goal.
Odds and Ends
