I am an oldie newbie. I am 66 years old, a former freelance copywriter and advertising consultant.
Two years ago I came to China to be with my Chinese fiancee. She is a Professor of English and I am now a humble English teacher (i.e. English with a New Zealand accent).
My wife and I were married in December. In 6000 years of Chinese history ours was the first English-language wedding in this neck of the woods (can you prove me wrong?).
I have a seventeen year old stepson in China, a 20 year old adopted son (also Chinese) in New Zealand, three adult daughters in New Zealand and an adult son in Canada.
I work only short hours and am keen to get an affiliate marketing business going. My salary is low and the cost of flights to New Zealand to see family is high.

You kindly welcomed me when I signed up with WA.. Then something happened and I suspended my membership for a month but now I'm back. I'm working the Action Plan, am required to have 5 buddies and I count you as Buddy 1, okay?
