I grew up in the South (Georgia), ya'll, but have lived all over the country and overseas in Asia and Europe due to my military service times. I enjoy traveling and seeing different places, and meeting people.

I'm a systems administrator and work primarily with UNIX operating systems. I'm married and have three kids, and the youngest has special needs (autism). Autism is a major concern for many families, and the costs under many circumstances are not covered by insurance which is a tragedy. I'm planning on offsetting these costs by creating a business through what I learn here in the university and from each of you.

There is a saying that the love of money is the root of all evil. Maybe that's true to some degree, but I think the lack of it for a growing family is even more evil, so I have for some time been wanting to figure out how to generate residual income. I would love nothing more than to be my own boss at some point and not be dependent on a company, so I'm determined to learn and work towards this goal. Nice talking with ya'll.
