Once again I've been distracted. This time the diversion was "work-at-home" opportunities. I really want to get something going so I can be more independent, but I haven't been able to focus on the affiliate marketing and I really don't have the confidence either. I guess I just have to keep reading and educating myself.

I've been so busy with stuff other than my affiliate marketing. I got distracted by some guy who ended up not being worth my while. So now I need to refocus on getting my business going. I've also decided to take up a new hobby. I'm going to learn how to play the guitar. Oh, and I finally applied to graduate school, so California here I come! Hopefully I will have more affiliate marketing stuff to report soon. That article that never got published was a good one. I just didn'

I had submitted an article in EzineArticles.com last week and completely forgot about it until I got an email today saying that they would like to help me get it published but my affiliate link is not a direct link and to edit the link. Well, lucky for me, I do have my own domain name, but unfortunately I do not have anything built on the site yet! I have 48 hours to get something up and I don't even remember how to FTP. But that's OK. I have a friend who is going to help me. I'm so ex

Gone are the days of the all-the-time goalie discount. But once in awhile I come across a goalie freebie. I'm going to a drop-in tonight and goalies are free. Yep, I'm there. I have been getting pretty sidetracked from my WA stuff, but I would like to get going with the WA Super Affiliate program and I have a few other things in the works as well. I have a friend who is going to let me borrow his Web designing software. It sounds pretty cool. He says it allows you to hard code HTML if you

Happy Thanksgiving to my new WA Family! So, I haven't made much progress with my affiliate marketing because I've gotten sidetracked by Farmville. Now that my Farmville is up and running again, I spend hours and hours on there harvesting my crops and making my space pretty. It's my virtual business. I'm telling ya -- I'm practicing managing my finances on there so all is not lost. I have a job interview tomorrow with a company who sells legal services. It actually sounds kind of intere

Do any of you watch The McClaughlin Group on PBS? Remember Tony Blakely. He says "is-sooze" and not "ishooze." I always found that funny. No offense to those of you who have "is-soo" issues! ;) Anyway, I signed up for a wireless card through AT&T the other day and I only get 5 gigs of data per month and since I've joined WA three days ago I've already used up a gig of that. So....it looks, like I will have to come up with anoth

Yesterday was a good WA day for me. Two people responded to my "Help, I am so lost!" post to the newbie forum with some excellent advice which I can't wait to implement. I've also been referred to a great affiliate program which seems promisingly profitable with some time, effort, and no initial financial investment. So, thanks everyone for being so kind, friendly, and helpful. I read somewhere that the best thing about WA is the forum and the networking and I have to&nb

It's funny. No wonder I am not succeeding as an affiliate marketer if nobody is reading my posts. Doesn't anyone care that I'm close to selling my soul to the devil! LOL. :) Actually, I'm feeling a lot better. I just spent the last two hours trying to resolve a Flash issue with my Farmville on Facebook. I never did get it resolved and my grapes are turning to raisins as I speak. But I did the Zen thing and let it go. Instead of trying to control the situation, I refocused on something else like

So, I've been a bit frustrated today. I did not get any responses from my newbie introduction where I asked a bunch of questions. I was under the impression that I would be able to have my own site on WA. No, I get a site builder and a host and I have to get my own domain and then put it all together, right? Well, I studied Web design ten years ago and the whole FTP thing is very vague to me right now.   I think I am going to try to focus on article marketing f

My story is like many others here at WA. I am looking to achieve financial and personal freedom. I've done my research and affiliate marketing seems like something that I will enjoy and will be good at. I am very anxious to get away from in my case the 9 to 6 grind. I keep telling myself, "There's got to be more to life than this!" My passion is ice hockey. I've been playing off and on since 1998. I would like to somehow incorporate this passion into my affiliate marketi
