All Traffic Is NOT Created Equal
Last Update: June 13, 2010
In my last post, I introduced you to 3 facts
that I use to guide my Internet income generation
strategy.
that I use to guide my Internet income generation
strategy.
To recap, the 3 facts are
1. The amount of money you make is determined
by the 4 Part Money Formula. (See last post for the formula.)
2. If any part of the formula is zero, your earnings
will be zero.
3. The effectiveness of your marketing message
is based on how well it communicates that
what you offer will solve your customer's problem.
Now, with these 3 facts as our foundation, we now
have a basis on which to start building a profitable
business.
Let's begin by taking a closer look at the
first component of the Money Formula - TRAFFIC.
It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to realize that
Traffic is to your Internet-based business
as
Air is to your body
Without it? Game over.
It's important to recognize however, that
All traffic is NOT created equal.
Let me illustrate the point with this example...
Is it better to
Take a full deep breath in a smoke filled room?
or
Take a full deep breath in an air conditioned
contaminant free room?
Both provide air to the body, but one is clearly
better than the other.
The same is true for traffic.
Poor quality traffic may as well be no traffic
at all (IMHO).
The point is this...
As you develop your traffic generation strategy,
consider that while traffic volume is important,
"quality" traffic volume is even more so.
As always, I welcome your comments!
Until we correspond again,
Wayne
